Protection

Just a little reminder to the newer and some of the older riders the importance of adequate protection.Body armour with a back protector, knee guards, elbow guards, proper motocross boots, a decent crash hat, good quality gloves and enough fabric to cover your skin.Dont try to save money on these items, buy the best you can afford,do not in the nice weather try to cut down wearing any of this stuff `because its too hot`.Just got back from a trip to Wales and one of the guys fractured his spine, hopefully hes gonna be fine but he had all of the above on and still hurt himself.Do yourselves a favour and dont take any chances.I know we only bimble about on green lanes but it only takes one tree root or to get cross rutted and you are off before you know it, even the more experienced riders fall off all the time.

Hey sound words there - I broke my foot last November, now if I didn't have my Alpinestars on I might not have had a foot left at all! Steve, hope whoever broke their back is recovering ok.
