I have been loitering for a while as I got myself a CCM 404 DS earlier in the year with the intention of going greenlaning, however then put some supermoto wheels on it and have used it on road ever since...
..however I'm keen to start using it off road in the coming months and keep seeing messages about guided rides but am really struggling to find local bike shops that stock off road gear. I need to get all the usual stuff and wondered if anyone can recommend any places or kit. I have been using Bike Frenzy for some bits and pieces for the bike so far (they are really helpful).
In particular I can't find anyone who has Alpinestars stuff (but have tried the Bionic armour). Sinisalo has also been recommended to me. I was also going to go for Sidi boots as I've always used their road boots. Can anyone recommend stuff, help and advise me!
Cheaper is better until I get into it properly! but I certainly enjoy mountain biking at Leith Hill
